Meet SnowBug Da'Bean. He is the newest addition to my home. In my family, there's a random long-time tradition of black cats named Snow.
It all started with Dad, who loved a black cat named Snow when he was a boy. When I was a little girl, I also companioned with a black Cat named Snow. When my children and I rescued a tiny black kitten from between the walls of our shed, her name, of course, was Snow.
Toez the Polydactyl Cat has been a part of my life for six years. She loved my husband and grieved over him. Now she's my kitty--though it has taken some time. I had noticed she has grown lonely over the past few years--grooming a little toy as if it were a kitten.
I brought Snow home three days ago--and the two are actually playing together. Toez seems very happy to have the little stinker in our house--though at first, as you see above, she was quite baleful.
Have a great day--Cats are such a random adventure in themselves!
